click on Control Panel> Performance and Maintenance> Adminstrative Tools> Event Viewer
now on the left pane click on what you want to view to bring up the log. scroll down to what ever error message that is displayed. it will have either a red circle with a white X or a yellow triangle with a !. click on the entry to hightlight and then right click on it then click Properties. it will now tell you a brief discription of the errors and will even have a hotlink to the Microsoft Knowledge Base Center for more specific details on that particular error
okay i found one that said it had something to do with winamp. I think it was a visualization error. Corjello suggested that and I think he is right. I will still scan to be sure.
Well, since it's a script error I would update all of Script software. Or, if you can find out what scripts are used by Winamp then you know specifically which one to update.
Visual Basic, Java, and checking Windows Scripting Host.
You're .NET Framework may be outdated as well, but I would check this as a last resort because it's huge.
But all-in-all a script error isn't really a big deal.
