The article on flavors got me started thinking of different flavors, and how we dislike the ones which are unfamiliar to us. There are some foods I've tried that have had such unusual flavors that I don't think I'll ever try them again. What are yours?
The food I've disliked more than anything else is East Indian dessert pastry. I've tried a few different kinds, and they all taste to me like they were made with grated soap. I wish I knew what gives them that flavor.
The food I dislike next would be rose-flavored ice cream, and after that would be molè. I'm sure these foods must be very tasty for people who are used to them, but I don't think I would ever want to eat them again.

Iam with you ont he idian deserts, they dont have the sweetness that others have, and the flavor is off.
I really dont care that much for curry, the season...so curry beef, lamb or chicken would make it on my list. Thefunny thing is, I love spice foods I jsut dont like that spice.
the next on up, oysters on the half shell. yuck. Any raw seafood is not to my taste, and Im not big on sushi that isnt at least cooked via citrus and vinagar jusices.
I just tried some Cheetos with 0 trans fat marked on the front of the bag ....
They sucked ass .....
Blah, blah, blah. Frito-Lay eliminated trans-fats from Cheetos back in 2002 or 2003, they just splashed it on the bag within the last year or two, or perhaps you just recently noticed it. So unless you haven't eaten Cheetos since 2002 or 2003, your brain told you they were missing something and it transferred the perception to your taste receptors. And if you're eating the reduced fat Cheetos, they're supposed to taste different. Fat = flavor. So there.
Now, to the original post. There isn't any food or flavor that comes to mind that I have disliked so much that I'd never eat it again unless I was starving. I'll eat anything, I don't care for nutmeg at all but I'll eat things in which it is incorporated. Also, I don't like lettuce on sandwiches or burgers, and I'm not terribly fond of celery in mixed salads (potato, tuna, chicken, etc.).

Yes it has been a long time since I had some Cheeto's ..... The bag is different .... The volume of the actual Cheeto is different .... and the taste and texture is different then I remember ..... The bag also says made with real cheese .... The inside of the bag is covered with a greasy cheese like paste ....
I went back and got some Ruffles .... 0 trans fat on the bag .... and they taste just fine
I would never eat that green and yellow shit again that some one I love made one time
Ok, We all know that BBB has admitted to bleeding green and yellow blood but I must have missed something here. I don't think I would even try eating humans even if I was starving.

Which one are you?
Well......I will try something once and since my father instilled that rule in our house, I stopped being a picky eater. ( I was as a child)
I dont care for liver of any kind.....goose, cow, or lizard. I wouldnt eat that unless I was starving. I can get enough iron in other foods..why eat one I hate?
