OK, back in 2001, for 36 days I worked for TSA as a interim manager. 36 days was all I could handle of idiots (and I am not talking about the passengers) and told them where they could take their job, their cahos, mismanagement and illegal hiring practices. When all was said and done, I got shorted 13 hours of overtime pay. After 4 months of trying to get the OT pay, it was far more headache trying to get it then to just let it go. I let it go.
Today, five (5) years later I get a notice in the mail from a collection agency saying that I owe TSA $1428.19. Seems that TSA has come up with the idea that I was over paid. WTF!!!!

You think?
Unfortunately, it will boil down to this. TSA will not be able to provide any supporting documentation, and I will not pay it. The treasury will either do one of two things.
1) Take it out of my current salary (without notice).
2) Take my income tax return (also without notice).

Somewhere. But to support what is the question. I have no clue how they are comming up with the crazy idea. I called the collection agency, and you would think by they way they traet you that I was a low life, out to screw the world! Just in case anyone is wondering, that didn't go well either.

This is not going to be fun.
Never mind .....scum like you ain't worth my time .....
If it were mine, I would pay it. If they can prove that I owe it I will pay it. If I don't pay it, they will seize it, so don't worry, they will be able to hire that new CMV inspector!
Dam, that sucks ass USofA!!!! Do you have any of your old time sheets, pay stubs, anything? Find a good lawyer that has either had some previous dealings with either the company or even the collection agency. The collection agency has to give you details of the amount and why/how it is owed and if you shove a lawyer up their rear they are more inclined to do so.
