Many memebers when trying to click on threads are getting a private area
message and have to find other ways to access the board. When will this

Memebers state that when they try to access a section it puts them in a
restricted section and tells them they dont have access.

They also state they have to use forum jump to get from one place to
another.

Hi Photogrrlz,

Can you please give some examples of links to pages that incorrectly
restrict users? What is likely happening is that the subforum ID being
used in the thread link is incorrect; it is for a restricted subforum
rather than the thread's correct subforum. We have had some problems
with that lately. In the meantime, one crummy solution is to delete the
subforum ID from the thread URL (e.g. delete &subForumID=xxxxxxx).

Some examples I received from members,

I went to post in message boards game, the common ava, and like bread
said, you click the very last page....and you get the main page.

I went to the random chater title and clicked on a thread .(i dont
remember which one) and got booted....then had to relog in.

I did what wood said, go to tht thread, and the one you want to post
in, but some times it goes to the main page, some times it goes to the
thread. I can post.....once it opens. It some times only opens half
way....

now it remembers me but sometimes goes to the mod squad when I click a
thread in recent post.

Another PM I received from a member:

I have noticed that on occation, some of the re-directors when you go to
some of the sub-forums, or individual threads, pop-up the "restricted"
box.

this varies, there is no consistancy in the thread or sub-forum. It
seems that there is a error in the way that the code is read and
tranferred to the browser.
I don't know that much about PHP code, but I do know how the code is
read and transferred to the browser. I don't use PHP to build my
webSites, I use one of the variations on HTML.

I also am having banning issues, I banned an IP and deleted the user,
but the user returned on the same IP and created a new account. The
banning of the IP isnt working.

I have noticed something else too. It seems that the dataBase doesn't
post the updates correctly.
Example: main page, introduction forum: 'last post' is by foxfyre at 13
hours ago,
(timeStamp at 7:16am)
when you go into the sub-forum listing, the newest post is June8 by
Plush.

One of the members who donated a large amount of money to the forum
would like to get a refund if we don't get it fixed.

Hopefully they get this fixed. I love coming here and because of that I do the forum jump just so I can read and post, but would love not to have to do that.
