Houseplants

Wasn't sure where to put this so here goes. I have gnats in the dirt of my houseplants. Besides letting them dry out, anyone have any ideas?

this is going to sound really funny, but here's what I do with gnats...

I give the plant a shower. (yes, put it in the shower, let it get watered, and wash the leaves)

then put a DROP of dish soap in the dirt when putting it back in its spot.

water as normally in a couple days.

betcha dont have gnats after that.

(I did this with my mom plants as we moved her and saved like 4 of them)
