Well fuck! This is pissing me off.

I'm assuming that you aren't using any Host Files. If you are delete them.

More importantly tho, have you tried doing a System Restore by choosing a time that you could see the pictures? And which version of Java are you running, just in case. I don't know what tinypics uses.

Lokoike once had the same problem on another forum. He traced the problem to his firewall which was ZoneAlarm Pro. Unfortunately he didn't tell me exactly what he did to fix it but maybe you could PM him to see what he did.

Hope this is of some help...

I don't know what host files are.  I also don't know how to do a system restore or what version of Java I am running.  I am hopeless.

I do have a firewall, but the weird thing is that I could see the pictures fine until a couple nights ago.

Are you using Firefox by any chance? If I view this thread in Firefox, some of the pictures appear and then disappear including yours. The funny thing is the picture in your original post appears and then disappears but I can see your picture in all the rest of your posts in this same thread. The same thing happens with some but not all of the other pictures as well.

If I look at this thread in Internet Explorer or Opera all the pictures appear wih no problems at all.

It looks like all the pictures are hosted by activeboard so it's really strange some appear OK and others don't.

I just now noticed that for me the first, seventh, and eleventh picture disappear no matter whose picture it is. This happens in every thread I checked. Maybe it is a bizarre practical joke LOL.

I have been considering downloading Firefox, but at this point I am still using IE.


The pics I'm having a problem with are in the XXX-Rated thread, and they are the ones of specific members (except for PCW's).  I think they're on pages 5 and 6.

Sounds like I'm on the wrong track then. Like Sweet said, these problems can be frustrating.

If it's any consolation, at some point they seem to happen to just about everyone.

Hope it gets figured out...
