Normally I use Tweak to save the Recycling Bin as a file rather than having it on my desktop. But the file diappeared.
I opened Tweak and looked for the option to show Recycling Bin as a file but I can't find it. Is it possible that it's not in the new version?
I did a search for both Recycled and Recycling Bin but it showed nothing. The only way I can get to Recycling Bin is by going to Tweak and showing it as an icon.
Does anyone know how I can Recycling Bin to show as a file? It was simple with the old Tweak.

I looked through my tweak UI and saw nothing like this and I have had the same version for a while now. I am interested in why you would want it like this anyway, Entre.
Well, I just never use icons on my desktop. I only use my Start menu. I guess I started doing it because I use photos as my wallpaper and I'd like them to be icon-free.
Yes, I did mean TweakUI. Sorry. It used to be that when you went to the desktop tab, and checked that you didn't want an icon, you could choose to have a file for it instead. Up until now I have had a file called Recycled. Suddenly that's gone and I can't find how to make it again.

Use TweakUI to make the recycle bin visible Right click the recycle bin Click create Shortcut This will put a shortcut on the desktop Rename that shortcut to whatever you want Right click the shortcut and click Cut Right click the Start button Click Open All Users Double click Programs Paste the shortcut in there Then use TweakUI to hide the recycle bin again
This will give you the full function of the recycle bin without having to have it on the desktop.
Let me know if this is ok, it is the best I can think of at the moment.
