there could be several reasons why you are having trouble with the download. one thing to check is to see if you have IE set to accept the ActiveX control that allows the install. also if you have any popup blockers enabled those may also prevent a clean install. if you are getting any error messages please post them.

here is how you can check to see if ActiveX is enabled.

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Choose Tools then Internet Options.
3. Select the Security tab.
4. Choose Internet.
5. Ensure that "Download Signed ActiveX controls" and "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" are not disabled.

Ok since we are on about this. Can someone explain that "install missing plug ins" thing that firefox does? I can't get some videos to play, cause it says it cannot find the plug in. Then it says I need WMP 10. I have it. I am so lost.
