well the day that my "new" co worker had not been expecting finally came.


 


sistersandpaper went after him today and not me.


she is a behavior tech that basically has attempted to run this program herself wioth out creditals. well he is laid back and all but to day she cooked his goosse. She started with one on the clients that came in late. he walked in about 3 minutes late and had called. now before you go, he should be late or ...


remeber what I do. I am a substance abuse counselor. I worl with people that have not been "responsable" "respectable" nor reliable in the past. most are there via probation, arole, or CPS.


this client JUST lost his son. his son was buried LAST WEEK, being 12 days old.


He lost his mother last september. and he is on parole. he is only 31 and has NEVER had a full time job.(other then the inmate job in the penn)


he called.(huge step) he has been late in the past but this time he HAD paperwork to show he was with his (other girlfriend) in the hospital with complications with HER pregnancy.  


she was floor and was at the point of yelling at the client. (not all the way but close) and the coworker steps in and explians this to her (again).   she lost it. "you dont know how to do this job buddy. You just got here and I have been here for 20 + years and I know the rules. " He tells me whats up when I come out of group and grab my water. (i drink it all day long)


she comes into the room when we are talking.


"{excuse me but Ms. H (the name I really use being I have a freak last name that no one can say) I have told ____ that this is unexcuseable. you your self know the client has been late and this is not fair to any one else..(at this point I hold up my hand, and say...Im going to do group. see you in an hour."


we had a fire drill, both the co worker that was talking to me and myself helped out the daycare  getting them out. (we also have in patient treatment, women and women and children. the 4 we got out were all under 1 year) she then insults infromt of the boss that we didnt go woth the clients. the boss.(I love my boss) tells her that she flawed by NOT helpiojng and that he was happy someone thought of the daycare and not leaving the one person with 4 little ones.


 


so all day long he has had little shit shots at him, syl remarks and rolled eyes.


He finally sees the reasons I go to my "hiding place" when the clients leave. (a office that is used a storage. I sit in the dark, play on the puter....boss thinks it funny as anything, casue she cant find me)


 


the co worker finllay got what I have been saying. she is a HUGE pain in the ass. and now he agrees. (he told me as I left......you worned me and I never thought it woyuld be like this,.  he has been there 7 weeks tomorrow.)


 


 


sister sandpaper. she rubs everyone the wrong way.


(she is high scholl friend of the CEO. She even tells people that she doesnt think she will get fired,.but now the CEO is tired of her crap, but she still does this)

Yes, but in the right place at the right time and in the right way.

the fact the client was only 3 minutes late is not a big deal, and the fact that he called ahead is a major step for him.   the bitch didn't get the memo

Because she didn't get the memo, she continued to give the client grief to the point of nearly yelling at him
