Read the post. Got finished. Had a quesion mark sitting over my head in a bubble with my head tilted like a confused dog. Refraining from writing anything over there as I'm befuddled.

Perhaps I'm wrong but was this the gist?:

Madison: I know all the things women should do to protect themselves and I practice said things 99% of the time. I chose not to last night because some 'arrogant guido's' (HER WORDS-not mine) "Hey Bitch game" worked on me. It ended up biting me in the ass (and ruined my shoes and suit) but thankfully nothing worse happened. I know I was dumb BUT I'm looking for re-assurance that no woman deserves to be sexually assaulted and it shouldn't have happened (and one of the responding police officers should have done more). That being said, I repeat that I'm an idiot.

Here's my take after reading: Ok. I got all that. I agree that no woman ever deserves to be sexually assaulted and that no number of mistakes a woman makes ok's something like that to happen. (believe me it's a guilt issue I personally struggle over everyday and have never won-the cop in me won't allow me to so I know how important it is to assure the victim of that from the get-go). BUT what the hell was she asking in the first place? It was in the 'Ask a cop' section right? What the hell was the question? Did I miss that or was she just looking to vent while placing a personal ad?

Oh well, if it made her feel better to talk about it (even in an online forum)-I'm glad she did. I'll just know to not read her posts because they're far too detailed and confusing for my tastes.

Yes, this is the pissed off section and she is succeeding in pissing you off.

That is what she wants....she craves attention. Just report her and stop responding to the desperate grabs for the attention she wants.

I am not one to call B.S. on any assault story, but hers has too many holes in it and it really bugs me when women do that. It makes it so much harder for women who have been assaulted to report the assault and not be doubted.

I equally despise people who brag about what they wear....who cares. Its not relevant to the story. Unless her 500 dollar pumps are a blood spattered piece of evidence; it doesnt matter.

I guess I should just feel sorry for her..that she has to act that way for attention. That is what my mother would tell me.....Good Grief.

1. Yes, I read her post and it read like some type of bad "My Night of Horror" magazine article, I am extremely doubtful that things happened as she said. I would have loved to post a comment, but unlike others I chose to follow the rules since I am not a cop.

2. I rolled my eyes when I read her description of her clothing and shoes. Most of her targeted audience on that forum can't afford $500 shoes and for her to include that as part of her tale of woe was just ridiculous and wrong. Of course, it also reinforced the fact that money can't buy common sense, which will last far longer than a pair of Manolo Blahniks.
