You're very welcome, I hope you enjoy that series as much as I did.

Currently, I am reading Velocity by Dean Koontz.

I am, very much.  I just finished Lost in a Good Book, and am about to start Well of Lost Plots...

I do like Koontz; I think he's getting even better.  Velocity is on my list.  I did read Forever Odd, the sequel to Odd Thomas, both very good.

TC,

do you prefer earlier Koontz, or more recent?  Say, From the Corner of His Eye (circa 2000, roughly) up?

That was a rather Homer-esque comment there, Foxfyre.

I just finished "The Blue Knight" by Joseph Wambaugh

I have read it a coupe times before.

It was written in the early 70's about a 50 year old cop nearing retirement. The guy is married to his job and his beat. He backed out of his retirement because he is an pitiful idiot.

Someone should have told years ago "A cop is not who you are-It's what you do"

Right now I am reading "Freemasonry Exposed" by William Morgan

I ordered that book; and am awaiting it's arrival.  I just finished Elizabeth George's What Came Before He Shot Her.  It was quite good, in a horribly sad way.

Mind of a serial killer. Got a good one called Cleveland cops. Hysterical.

I've been going back and forth from W.E.B. Griffin and any STAR WARS book for the past few years. Griff has several fiction series on WWII: Brotherhood of War and The Corps. Good stuff on both of them. I just started his Badge Of Honor series dealing with a bunch of cops in Philly starting circa 1973. I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone who is an action/drama buff and likes history. I generally read about 2-3 bks a week depending on whats going on at work.

I just finished The Apprentice by Tess Gerritsen.

It was not bad. Gave me an idea about a villain I have read short blurbs about in her other books featuring the same detective and M.E.

I have a Cornwell book I have not read yet...but I may read something nice that does not have some evil psycho murderer in it.

I just finished Walter Mosley's Killing Johnny Fry.  There's no evil psycho killer, but it is disturbing.  That's why I'm re-reading it for the 3rd time.
