Just finished a book called Dead Sleep..not bad at all. If you are a cop, there may be some procedure that is not 100% accurate, but I wouldnt know since I am not a cop. Before that, I read Blood Memory by the same author. That was really good.
I am reading Perfect Husband by Lisa Gardner right now....about a psycho battering husband who is a cop, so some of you may not like it. So far its creepy, but my sis says its pretty good.
I plan to read Picture of Dorian Grey after this one...maybe not.
What do yall like to read?

I read the Perfect Husband. I wasn't too thrill about it.
I usually read these authors books:
James Patterson
Janet Evanovich
Sarah Stromonmeyer (sp?)

I also like julkie garwood, not the romance crap but the actions ones. there just enough of a love plot to be in the book, but not distract from the main story.
I also like Dean koontz and true crime books. gary king I belive does that.
I am a voracious reader who will read almost anything (currently reading The Scarlet Letter, a book on John Wayne Gacy, and a Clancy novel). I despise books by Patricia Cornwell and Sue Grafton.
I also have OCD. My version forces me to finish every book I've ever started (even if I have to take 2 years). I have to know how it ends. It can be a pain in the ass.
I just finished Michael Chrichton's State of Fear which I thought was surprisingly good if a little slow at times.
Baseball Babe...dont tell me why you didnt like Perfect Husband.
I like P. Cornwell and Kathy Reichs
Old Man and the Sea , Night and Scarlet Letter are some of my favorite oldies. Night was the first book that made me cry ..it was a tough book to read at the young age I was when I read it. I was barely out of my Judy Bloom and Bronte sisters phase when I read that in high school.

If you've read much classic literature, you'd probably enjoy reading the series of books by Jasper FForde. The first in the series is "The Eyre Affair." They're different, clever, and funny.
