I'm doing fine. I have been busy moderating at Lawenforcementforums and stuff. I speak with Butters frequently but we neer talk about other sites. I had to do one of the hardest things in my life 2 weeks ago. I, we had to put wifes cat to sleep. She was almost 16 and had renal-kidney failure. The cat, Taylor has been with wife for 15 years. EVERY day, every night that cat has been my wifes best friend... Great cat but like all of us, we get old and well you know... So Hello to all, hope things are good for you and yours. Ill try and stop in and say hello... You cna catch me at LEF or not... I have an email too if anyione cares......E-man@lawenforcementforums.com DOnt be a stranger {like me} E bro....

Sorry to hear about your cat Easy. I have four myself two are ten and one is eight. I figure I've got at least a few more years with them. I've never married, no kids so they're like kids sometimes, at least for me. It's amazing how much they bring. I hope you guys get another.
It is good to hear form you. I was wondering where you were.
I am soooo sorry to hear about Mr. Taylor ... truly ... I am ... I have had a cat most of my life ... Some have gotten hit by cars, others just got old ... and you may remember my last one ... Copy Cat ... They do become like part of your family. weather you view them like a child ... or just a best friend ... it really hurts when they are gone ... ...
Most people say it is good to get another pet to replace the one you lost ... but sometimes ... there is just no way that they can be replaced. ....
There is really not anything I can say to make you or your wife feel any better ... but ... if it helps ... I feel your pain ... and ... I care ... I really do ...
sooooo ... give her a nice long hug ... hold her and let her cry ... if she wants to ... but let her know you are there for her ... and it is ok to feel the way she does ... (I know you are there for her and that you care ... so don't take what I have said wrong) ... just let her grieve and let yourself grieve as it comes natural to you ... don't let anyone else tell you how you should feel or what you should do ...
When the time is right ... you will know ...
God Bless ...
Just Me,
IO

I am so sorry E. Thats really sucks, but its also being a pet owner. It almost killed me to put my dog down many years back, he was 11. Much like your wifes cat.....
I am truly sorry.
dont stay away for too long, but glad you got to mod over there. a real person that isnt a hard nose...blow top.
Thanks for the replies. Wife got a kitty last summer from a neighbor who had a litter. The black cat she picked out is polydactyl which for u cat lovers {pun in there somewhere?} is extra toes, fingers. Taylor was a polydactyl. Wife will only get polys from now on. I re read some of my post and it didnt sound right where I said every day, every night, blah blah blah. It kinda sounded like dropping off a cliff or watching LOST on ABC, whts the point? After 15 yrs, every night she came home Taylor was there, Taylor would follow wife into the bathroom and wait for her, insane how much this cat loved my wife. And vice versa. The only thing that held her together last week was work, and our kids. She made the coment "Why do people get pets only to have to kill them eventually" I almost cried, well I actually did but got out "Its the journey in between not the beginning or the end but in between" I came up with that myself... OK Enough cat tales....
Ill be around here, nighty night peeps. Iam almost off to bed. Iam on daylight for another week. I HATE GETTING UP AT 515am... E

I have an old dog, who is my buddy, and I know I will have to make the decision you made with him, one day. I dont like to think about it and just try to enjoy the few things he can still do to make me laugh.
Take care; sorry it too me so long to reply; I have not been around much and just saw this today.
