I have lost my webcam that takes stills. I don't want to buy a digital camera because I take a picture like once a year. I've seen disposable digital cameras in stores, but I don't know anything about them. Can you see the pic in the little window like you can with a regular digital camera. Can you actually hook them to your computer to view the pics? If so, I guess I'd need to buy some kind of wire.
Please forgive my complete ignorance of these matters. Like I said, I rarely take pics.

I don't know about a disposable digital (why on earth - you can get a digital camera nearly as cheaply as the disposable), but a lot of cell phones have the camera/video feature.
I've never used a disposable digital camera, either. Like Foxfyre said, though, you can get digital cameras pretty cheaply now. It might even be more cost effective to do that than to buy a disposable and pay for the processing/photo retrieval.

I got a disposable digital once for my son. The only thing "digital" about it was that they gave you a disk with your pics on it along with the prints. There was no way to hook it up to the computer.
Webcams are cheap, too. Mine was less than $30, and will do stills and video.
