Willie Nelson Cited for Marijuana and Mushroom Possession in Louisiana

LAFAYETTE, La. —  Country music star Willie Nelson and four others were issued misdemeanor citations for possession of narcotic mushrooms and marijuana after the tour bus they were on was stopped Monday morning on Interstate 10 in Louisiana, state police said.


In a news release, state police said the citations were issued after an early morning commercial vehicle inspection of the tour bus.


"When the door was opened and the trooper began to speak to the driver, he smelled the strong odor of marijuana," the news release said. A search of the bus produced 1 1/2 pounds of marijuana and 2/10 of a pound of narcotic mushrooms.


Cited along with the singer were Tony Sizemore, 59, St. Cloud, Fla.; Bobbie Nelson, 75, Briarcliff, Texas; Gates Moore, 54, Austin, Texas; David Anderson, 50, Dallas.


Each was released after being issued a citation.


A call to Nelson's publicist was not immediately returned.

I've gotten enough BS tickets in Louisiana That I hope Willey gets to rip them a new one....


If your doing the speed limit,   They'll lie and write you for speeding....


Then they will write the ticket so you can't fight it in court...   Just pay the fine or lose your permits.....


 


Whats wrong with a little weed anyway.....

I read this thread earlier.  Then, when I went out, I saw a giant yellow mushroom in my front yard.  My first thought was Eeeuuuwwwww, disgusting.  My second thought was I wonder if it's edible.  I bet Willie could tell me.

You can eat those, but it could make you ill if your sensitive.

Poor Willie.  He always seems to catch it.  I still say that he can't sing though, that always pisses the Mom off, she loves him.


How about those mushrooms in the cow patties?  Know some young kids who ate them, they all got to drink some charcoal and had their stomachs pumped with their parent's blessing.  Not sure if a stomach pumping was called for but I guarantee that they will not do it again.  They are fine, no ill effects from the ordeal other than respect for a NG tube and the fine taste of charcoal.  Good for a laugh now.

I am very against psychoactive mushrooms and stuff like that. I am not a supporter of the search for the meaning of life in this way. I like to use herbal options for treatment and thats all. I can advise you what to look for in cbd oil. This is a very good cure for pain and stress. Have you tried this already?
