Bored?  In what context? with the forum?  With life?

I'm going crazy looking for my lost work key.  It's not anywhere - not in the car, and not in the house.  I am so screwed.  All of the locks will have to be replaced, and new keys issued.

Oh that does suck!!!  At least I don't possess the ONLY key - it just means they have to change 11 locks, and issue 13 new keys.

If I could say I dropped them in the bay, it probably wouldn't be a problem.  I think they were taken from my purse - which is.

I've looked everywhere, TC.  In my purse (where I'm positive I put them, and they can't easily fall out of), in the clothes I was wearing, under the car seat, the coin holder, the washer & dryer, from the car to the front door.  They are GONE.

I'll go look in my fridge....   but only cause I'm bored off my ass....    I've been laying in this bed for days trying to heal up and it sucks BIG  time.....   Such a pretty day and all I could do is watch it from my window

Thanks, straight up.  Every little bit helps...  And if you find an ice cold water in there, too, send it over...

I think there are some little gnomes going around stealing things today, I've been looking for my passport for the last couple of hours. I did eventually find it, it was where I'd put it for safekeeping.

So you put it away for safekeeping away from you trying to lose it.

Oh I just about forgot. Where are you and I going?

I'm fleeing the country and going to see Sparky.

Unfortunately I'm not going anywhere that I'd need a passport any time soon, I need it for ID to renew my driver's license (which expires in a week).

I wish I could blame it on a gnome!  But I'm glad you found your passport   Darn those safe-keeping hiding spaces.

Will that be the only I.D. you need?  I have to go in October, and I don't feel like looking up all the rules...

I know they have gotten seriously ridiculous w/ their rules.  One woman needed to find out how to get a copy of the marriage & death certificates of her 1st husband - They were married in 1955, and he was killed in an accident in 1957.  She needed to document her name change at that time.  I've had several other similar questions.  And w/ all the privacy rule changes, they are having a great deal of difficulty obtaining copies of those things.

O yes, the "I put it where I wouldn't loose it places". I fucking hate those! LOL

It completely takes the joy of finding the item away when you find it in that spot!!!!!

You need 6 points of ID, a passport or certified state-issued birth certificate counts as 4. In my case, I'll also show my current license and an ATM card which will give me all 6 points. Plus you have to have proof of your address, such as a bank statement, tax bill, or utility bill. Check out the DMV website when you have a chance. It's surprisingly clear on what documentation you need.

Haha, I used it last winter and for whatever reason I put it in a different "safe" spot than my other critical documents. That was a mistake that I will not make again, but at least the adrenaline rush of the panic involved in a lost passport made it kind of fun.

Did you check in the space between the washer and dryer? I have found keys, socks,  money...my credit card.
