I'm 30, back in school, like its nothing my mind rings with it. Cullinary is cool, takes five weeks of education to be allowed into the school kitchens as a student cook, safe serv looks like its going to be a riot.
Soylent does very well. He just needs this course to sharpen his abilities and broaden his horizons. Maybe it will open up some doors for him.

That is where i was heading, culinary. With my back surgery though, I do not know if I will ever be cut out to cook again. It is harder work than some people think. I am good to go on the mental, but the physical part will get me. Maybe I can skip all the ladder climbing crap and just get a chef position. Then I would be able to expedite and bark orders. It is good to hear that you went back to school.

Plush you with a hair net/apron would be a scary thought. I couldn't imagine you being a chief.

OK first off I will never be a "chief". A chef maybe. Chef's do not wear hairnets(not usuall), they wear hats. You are thinking of the lunchlady. I worked as a sous chef for about 5 years. I had a blast. And log onto your yahoo, ho. I need a test bunny.
I know that soylent makes rockin onion rings, I haven't had any desserts made by him yet so I will reserve judgement! Go for it, you got what it takes C!
Just hurry up and graduate and make something yummy!
BTW: mods just wondering why am I moldy?

how to make an omelle and fold it RIGHT. (i gotta learn it)
haha well the first thing is 3 eggs and 2 tablespoons of water. Nothing else. seasonings of course. do not use milk. Cooking spray and a good nonstick skillet and a wide spatula. Then you pour it, let it cook till it is 3/4 of the way done, then you stuff it. Fold it before it is all the way done or your egg will break open. and don't stuff it too full, that will cause it to fall apart too. It should not be symmetrical after you fold it. You want to see some of your yummy goodness hanging out. Like this
Good instructions plush! Good picture too! Bad timing, I am hungry as hell and I am out of eggs and my fav omelette stuffin's. I will have to make do with a bowl of cereal and drool on the computer screen over that picture! Maybe I will have to hit the little cafe on my paper route tommorrow morning! Hmmmm!
