Yesterday after parking my truck to get ready for my training. I went to my local Starbucks to get my usual drink (iced black tea sweetened). This guy walks in in front of me. For the love of god I have seen him some place else before and I know it has to do with baseball. So I wait until they ask for his name to put on his drink. When they said his name. I almost yelled. Plus when it was time to order my drink I forgot what I was going to order. LMAO
The person was Curt Young of the Oakland Athletics. Of course,he no longer plays but now he works for them as a pitching coach. But it was so cool that here he was in my town getting a drink at Starbucks. It made my day. I couldn't stop telling people whom I talked to. Although, I had met him once before in Janauary for the Oakland Athletics Fan Fest (and had my picture taken with him). It was really great seeing him another time.
On a side note: I finally aired my voice on the radio. I took the radio home so I could get used to hearing it. I just hope when I return to my other job today that I don't say 904 to the kids when they ask me something. Of course that would be good practice.

Date?? What do you mean. You thought I was going to ask him out. For one, I think he is married. Of course I didn't see a ring on his finger. Although he was strikingly handsome. Me like older men...

Sometimes the maturity level doesn't match the age level. Just ask Kittylynn.

I was upto a lot more then that but the Mods were deleting dead threads. So I lost some of my post count. No biggie here I am not going to become a posting whore. I am so tired. All this rain is making me sleepy.

I agree with you BBB. I am sick and tired of the rain. Puts me to sleep, too.

Good for you BBB. I met Gene Simmons once, even though I am not a Kiss fan, it made me kinda tingly.
Oh I forgot to share with you all. On my trip to Arizona, the second to last game I had my picture taken with James Denton from Desperate Housewives. He plays Mike Delfino (sp?) the one that was seeing Terri Hatcher on the show. I am trying to get rid of a finger in the picture (someone else took the picture of us). I will still post it.
James Denton threw out the first pitch of the game at Phoenix Muni.
