ok some one please tell me a great way to releave dry skin. I lotion after every shower, and dont take "hot hot " showers. I also lotion my feet to keep them soft.
yes I use the good lotions like bath and body works and cocoa butters.

I agree with ninjagirl on the no-soap principle for most skin... not only does it remove the beneficial bacteria but also removes essential oils from your skin.... guys and gals alike. plain water wash off is frequently enough.

I have dry skin and it gets dryer in the winter. My hands look like Arizonas desert right now...I use Dr. Bigelows QUINCE lotion from BAth and Body works and also some shit with the SHEA butter in it. WOrks good. Seriously? Gotta drink extra amounts of water so you can rehydrate from the inside out. WHen it gets cold out the body actually will pull its blood flow from the extremities first which is why we get wrinkled on the fingers first. The blood thins in winter and thats why it takes time to acclimate to the first coupla weeks of cold. Wonder why the palm of my right hand is never dry???
