How do you copy a picture of a screen and paste it....


Like say I wanted to copy this screen and paste it, how do I do it?

You should have a "print screen" button on your keyboard.  On a standard board it is to the right of F12.


Once you do that...you have to have an image editing program...paint shop pro or photoshop....(open the image program first so it knows what image you are printing to the clipboard)  ...then normally under Edit...(or whatever look around) you will see  PASTE AS NEW IMAGE


That should do it for you...from there you can copy paste as you wish.


 


I have never tried a print screen and paste into say a forum like this.  I think you will need to edit the image...crop it or whatever first though.

at the same time, hold "Ctrl" and "Prtsc" at the same time. you will see nothing happen when you do it. now open Paint up, click on EDIT then click PASTE, the image should come in view.

is it in your Start menu under All Programs? if it's not there then go to the Start menu and search for in Search
