A Scot archaeologist,on a dig in Scotland ,was down to 10 meters when he discovered copper wire, this led the Scot to write a paper in which he suggested the Scots had the first communication system similar to telephone over 100 years ago. Not to be outdone a British newspaper wrote that a Brit archaeologist digging down 20 meters discovered copper wire and concluded that Britain had telephones 200 years ago. A recent report in "The Advertiser" a Lafayette La. newspaper, reports that Pierre Gautreaux,a self taught archaeologist while digging next to a rice field outside of Cutoff La. got down to 30 meters and didn't find any copper wire.Pierre has concluded that this must mean that cajuns were the first to use wireless communications. :D
