Ok......So...........um... It was my friend's birthday last weekend. Four of us gfs went to San Fran. for dinner and dancing. We were unable to locate the culb that had us on their guest list. My friend decided that she wanted to go to a stripp club. None of us had ever been to one before so we went. AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I guess I always looked down on them in a way. I always believed they were lazy and dumb for not doing something more dignified. I always thought that it was repugnant for a woman to take her clothes off infront of strangers. Now I see them as women just like me. I don't have the right to judge them. I don't know their sircumstances. For all I know they could have a sick parent and a bunch of children at home to care for during the day. I also think that it must take alot of guts to put up with some of the pigs that go to those clubs and disrespect them. My friend and I shared a lap dance and we had a chance to talk with one of them. She was really sweet and smart. She seemed like some one that I could have as a friend and I realized that I have no right to judge her or any one else. They aren't hurting anyone.
I never got into going to them myself, although I have hit a few on special occasions. Birthdays, bachelor parties, etc. A lot of the girls seemed nice. Some, well..... I've been friends with a few strippers and I really didn't think there was any difference. Maybe a little more drive to do what needs to be done to pay the rent, but that's a good thing. There was a big news thing on them here a while back. A lot of them are full time/part time college students trying to pay their way through school. Some have a kid or two at home and are doing it for the extra cash. They're like everybody else, just trying to make it.
I knew of a stripper who was just doing it to pay for Law School. I haven't been to one in a long time. The last time I went to one was when I was working at the old Naval Base. And all the Navy wives invited me to join them.
